Has Undertaker really converted to Islam?


Although more than 10 years have passed since this photo was taken, we still read so many rumours that WWE wrestler known as The Undertaker has converted his religion to Islam. But what about this photo, and who is that Muslim Sheikh who had got The Undertaker attention and respect that he insisted to have a short talk with him apparently on a plane?

The above photo was taken on 4th of June 2004, on a plane that was carrying The Undertaker on one of his trips outside the US for a WWE show, when he met Muhammed Burhan Aldin Alfatimi who is the Sultan of Albahra, one of the biggest Muslim cities in India, he was the last and 52nd Da’i al-Mutlaq of Dawoodi Bohras, a subgroup within the Mustaali, Ismaili Shia branch of Islam. He was appointed as the 52nd Da’i al-Mutlaq at the age of 52 in 1967. He was the longest living Da’i al Mutlaq of the Dawoodi Bohra community.

Burhanuddin was presented the highest national civic honors by the presidents of Egypt and Jordan.[4][8] He was the first Dai al Mutlaq to visit Europe and America.Burhanuddin died of cardiac attack at his home Saifee Mahal in Mumbai on 17 January 2014.
